Upwardly Mobile

Jonas' newfound skills at standing upright has meant the end to a lovely little part of babyhood for him, that being the mobiles over his crib. Technically, and according to manufacturer's recommendations, these things should have come down a long time ago. But Jonas has always seemed to enjoy them without wanting to get up and mess with them. His Colorado Buffaloes mobile actually came down a few weeks back. But his transportation-themed mobile, which turned out to be prophetic for our truck-obsessed boy when we got it while Mom was pregnant, finally met its end this week. Too much standing in the crib when he wakes up sealed its fate. But it was fun while it lasted.
